People in the helping professions, like teachers, social workers, nurses - we make the best realtors because we know how to help people who are stressed out and vulnerable navigate many complex intense processes. And that’s totally my life, that’s what I’ve done every day for the last 10 years as a public school teacher working in Special Education. That work has meant case management, intensive attention to deadlines and details -- and above all else: advocating and bargaining for the needs of the families I work to support - fiercely and tirelessly. 

You may have thought at some point in your life  “I don’t fit the mold of someone who can buy a house.” If that’s the case, I’m glad you made it this far, because I don’t fit the mold of a typical real estate agent either. 

And I’m the kind of person who likes to keep it weird. I like what’s atypical. I like to go beyond what’s obvious. I’ve spent much of my adult life helping create spaces like that for myself and my community, I know the ins and outs, and I love working with buyers who need a little creative solution-finding.
